“Learning without implementation is the illusion of competence”

Nishant Kasibhatla

I’m really enjoying how this quote forces me to push beyond accumulating knowledge and into thinking how I could actually use it.

It’s proving to be a great reference point that can be applied anywhere – creating a business plan, learning a new language, understanding how to set goals, and even, writing a blog.

It also creates an opportunity to check my ego and ask myself the question:

“Have I actually learned anything, or do I just think I have”?

It lends itself to more opportunites for growth as well by taking the knowledge you have and then identifying ways you can utilise, share or implement it.

Being creative on how you might implement that knowledge may not be your strong suit. So, when you reflect on what you have learned, think about how you benefit from that knowledge, because that’s probably the same way someone else will benefit from it too.

Have fun finding ways to implement this insight as part of your Big Life Mindset toolbox. I look forward to hearing how it goes.
